Last Saturday (October 17th, 2009), the German Chapter of the IEEE invited to the presentation of “10 Frequently asked Questions (and Answers) on EMC” from Elya B. Joffe, President of the IEEE EMC Society. I thought it could be a nice introduction to my actual attended course about EMC, so I visited it at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the TU Dresden.


After a small introduction from the Chair Executive Commitee of the German IEEE EMC Society, Dr.-Ing. Frank Sabath, Mr. Joffee started his presentation. He talked about ten common issues in EMC and about the, mostly not so unambigous, solution or the best compromise. It was a nice little recitation and a good start for my course on EMC.
