Goodbye Ion, welcome dwm

I like to work using only the keyboard. And I prefer software which just do what it should do, without all the eye-candy stuff you often get. So I looked for an x window manager which meets these preference. The first good result was Ion. It has good keyboard shortcuts by default. The look and feel is plain and simple, although it needs getting used to handle. I used it for almost 2 years. Unfortunatly there have been some changes on the license resulting almost in some flame like discussions around the net…

That is why some distributions removed the package from their main tree. I am a passionated Debian user and I love aptitude, the default debian package manager. But even the latest indisputable version, Ion2, has been left in the repository since a few months ago.
So I went out searching for a new great window manager. Today, I discovered dwm and it seems to be really cool! I think it is just a little bit more intuitive than Ion and even smaller than Ion. You can not configure it without recompiling but the default settings are quite fitting for my needs.
Try it out, it is great! :)
