During the last years at university, I had to write countless texts including special characters like greek letters. Thanks to UTF-8 encoding, all the problems with these signs are gone. The can proper input and display them. But I did not get to type them directly via keyboard for a long time. Writing my diploma thesis these days, I managed to modify my keymap.

In these days, I am writing my diploma thesis. I use Vim and LaTeX for doing this, of course. I have extended my little LaTeX-IDE (Vim with its Latex Suite and some snipMate snippets with another gimmick: the use of an todo list, as you may know from programming languages.

Seit einiger Zeit wird mein Identica-Stream leider nicht mehr ordentlich über Twitter und Twitter Tools geupdatet. Ich werde mir in nächster Zeit eine neue Lösung dafür überlegen.

Update: So, jetzt habe ich mich endgültig von Twitter und vom sympatischen Identi.ca abgemeldet.

Zum Saisonende durfte ich tatsächlich nochmal zwei ganz besondere Leckerbissen miterleben: Ich durfte bei den beiden letzten Tourstopps der Smart Beach Tour 2010 in Leipzig und in St. Peter-Ording mitspielen.
